The first women who achieved great finding and gained the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine is Gerty Theresa Cori from Czech Republic , sharing one fourth of the prize with another two man “for their discovery of the course of the catalytic conversion of glycogen” when she worked in USA.
Rosalyn Yalow from USA shared one half of the 1977 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine with two male scientists for that they discovered something important concerning brain peptide hormone production.
Barbara McClintock was awarded Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for that she discovered mobile genetic elements, which is of great significance for the further studies in genetics.
For the finding of growth factors, the 1986 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine awarded jointly to Rita Levi-Montalcini, Italian scientist and a male scientist in cell physiology.
One third of the 1988 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine was awarded to Gertrude B. Elion, from USA, for the findings of important principles regarding to drug treatment.

In 2009 there are two female in a same discovery were awarded jointly with another man the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for their discovery of the protection mechanism placed from telomeres and telomerase on chromosomes. They are Carol W. Greider and Elizabeth H. Blackburn
The latest one is May-Britt Moser, from Norway gained the honor in last year-2014. She shared one fourth of the prize for the discovery of a type of brain cell.
